GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED AWARDS AT EPSOM Over 250 dogs have been entered for the Auckland Kennel Club’s 37th annual show, which is being held in conjunction with the A. and P. Show at Epsom. The entries show an increase on last year. Tlio president of the club, Mr. Kerman Wade, says that the bulldog, collie and terrier classes all show an improvement in type, due to recent importations of stud dogs and bitches. In the bulldog classes the entries are very creditable, the finest dogs in New Zealand being represented. The Alsatians made a fine show in themselves. The sporting dogs, cockers and setters show good quality improvement. The dogs are getting back to the pre-war standard. Awards are as follow: ROUGH-COATED COLLIES hogs—Puppy under 12 months: W. H.
