Pursuant to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” Notice is hereby given that the Papatoetoe Town Board proposes to RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN, the particulars of which are as follow: — (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is providing a water supply. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £40,000, of which only £26,000 is required at present. (c) The proposed security is a Special Rate of 2 l-12d in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Papatoetoe Town District, and the provision for repayment of the loan is a. sinking fund of One Pound (£1) per cent, per annum calculated on the amount raised, which will repay the loan in 365 years.
