“A WOMAN’S WAY” TO-MORROW This evening will give the final opportunity of seeing the powerful drama. “Road House,” a story of the downfall of youth, at the Lyric Theatre. Maria Alba and Lionel Barrymore are the stars. “So This Is Love,” starring Shirley Mason, will also be. shown for the last time this evening. The new programme to-mojrow will be headed by a story of French life, entitled “A Woman’s Way.” The story deals with the awakening of love in the heart of a dancer in a Paris night-club. She has been so indifferent to the attentions of men that she is krtown as the “Frozen Flame.” Jean, an Apache, has tried to win the girl, but is unsuccessful in his attempts. He regards her as his property and keeps all would-be suitors away. A dashing American youth, however, knows no fear of Jean and succeeds in making an impression on the girl. Warner Baxter and Margaret Livingston are the leading players. The second feature to-morrow is “Fleetwing,” a daring story of Arabia, that tears aside the veil that has so long hidden the intimate life of the Bedouin. Barry Norton, Dorothy Janis ancl Ben Bard have leading roles. Gary Cooper and Nancy Carroll are co-featured in “The Shop Worn Angel” recently put into production at the Paramount studios. Paul Lukas is to play a heavy role in coming scenes, and Richard Wallace is directing.
