TUDOR, REMUERA
“THE MAGNIFICENT FLIRT” A carefree mother, a lovely daughter and a bachelor count, against a background of smart French society, form the main characters in the picture “The Magnificent Flirt,” now being shown at the Tudor Cinema, Remuera. The beautiful actress, Florence Vidor, has the principal role, that of Madame Laverne. Albert Conti is seen as the suave, polished bachelor, and Loretta Young has the role of Denise Laverne. “The Magnificent Flirt” is a story of modern, gay, laughing Paris, set in tho homes of the wealthy and in the famous cafes and cabarets. The subtleties of this clever French farce are admirably suited to the accomplished talents of Miss Vidor. “The Tigress,” a story of gypsy love and hatred, starring Dorothy Reyier and Jack Holt, will also be shown.
