SCHUBERT

To be Played by Bohemians To-Night CENTENARY CONCERT To mark the Schubert centenary the Bohemian Orchestra gives prominence to this composer in the programme prepared for this evening’s concert. Schubert will be represented by his big symphony, “No. 7 in C Major,” “Rosamunde” overture, and the song, “The Wanderer,” which will be sung by Mr. Barry Coney. Owing to its length the Symphony will be played in three parts. The balance programme will be made up of the Bach concerto “No. 5” for piano, violin and flute, played by Mrs. Macandrew, Miss Edith Whitelaw and Miss Simpson; two Aubades by Lalo; and the Prelude to Act 3 from “Lohengrin.” Mr. Barry Coney will also sing the Easter hymn, “Allelulia," by O’Conner-Morris. It is a choice selection, and one that should not fail to attract all who claim any appreciation of music.
