FINAL REMINDER
and trainers should not fail to note that entries for all events on the Auckland Christmas card close with Secretary A. G. Mabee to-morrow (Friday) at 5 P-m., while the first forfeit for the 1929 Great Northern Derby is due at the same time. Another point worth considering is that horses eligible to start in races for which conditions are ‘‘have done” or “been handicapped to do” a given time, must before entry date have registered a placed performance (first, second or third), or been handicapped to do the time by an adjuster recognised by the club, where the condition is for horses that “have not done” this is deemed to mean at time of starting and horses after nomination doing better time than that specified in the class and the same distance, shall be ineligible to start.
