“HARD BOILED HAGGERTY" “Hard Boiled Haggerty,” now at the Capitol Theatre, provides a unique characterisation for Milton Sills. Grim, relentless and heroic “ace” In sky battle above the German lines, he goes back to Paris to celebrate each victory. And in Paris—what a difference environment makes! It is behind the lines in the colourful, war-frenzied city of joy, that Sills practises “unbecoming conduct.” He is pranksome and humorously insubordinate, and gets into no end of comedic and dramatic trouble, until he meets romance in the person of a mysterious French girl. Molly O’Day plays in the leading feminine rols. “The Patsy,” a bright comedy, starring Marion Davies, will also be shown. BEACHHAVEN CABARET The Beachhaven Cabaret .is open every Saturday evening. Good music and an excellent dancing floor is assured at this cabaret, which is brought within easy reach of Auckland by tiie good transport arrangements.
