SUBURBAN THEFTS
MONEY AND JEWELS STOLEN HOUSE ENTERED IN DAYLIGHT Some time yesterday mbrning, between 10 a.m. and noon, the residence of Mrs. Ruby Neithe, of Manukau Road, One Tree Hill, was entered and a small sum of money was stolen. Entrance had been gained by opening an unlocked window in the rear of the house during the absence of the owner. Two rings, valued at £ 50, were stolen from the residence of Mr. A. E. Bagnall, Omahu Road, Remuera, during the week-end. A window in the bathroom had been broken and entrance gained that way. A five-stone engagement ring and a man’s dress ring were taken from a jewel casket, but a valuable necklet belonging to Mrs, Bagnall was overlooked.
