MOTOR-CYCLE HITS BOULDER
RIDER FRACTURES A THIGH When liis motor-cycle ran Into a boulder in the middle of the road last evening, Mr. A. J. Dowden. a married man, of 36 Orton Koad, Mount Albert, was thrown oft', and received a fractured thigh. The accident occurred near Halesowen Avenue, Mount Eden. Mr. Dowden was attended by Dr. M. B. Ounn, and was then taken to hospital, where his condition this morning is reported to be satisfactory. His motor-cycle was almost undamaged.
