ABUSED COMPANIONS
LABOURER FINED £2 U nfortunately for John O’Brien, a constable overheard him being very rude to his friends last evening. O’Brien, a labourer, aged 35, pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning to using obscene language in Queen Street. “He is a first offender, but got drunk and abused his companions,” remarked Sub-Inspector McCarthy. O’Brien was fined £2, in default seven days, being given seven days in which to find Lhe money.
