ASSYRIAN BURGLARS SENTENCED Press Association INUERCAEGILL, To-day. The Supreme Court opened before Mr. Justice Macgregor to-day. John Corry and Thomas David, both Assyrians, were sentenced to four years’ hard labour on two charges of breaking and entering and theft, _ involving a total of £76 and £35 in goods, the sentences to he concurrent with those imposed in Dunedin recently. His Honour said that accused were professional criminals, and, no doubt, were members of a gang.
