TE AWAMUTU SWIMMERS
The Te Awamutu Swimming Club has experienced a successful season. This was reported at the annual meeting last week, and the balance sheet showed a strong position. Mr S. A. Empson, and J. Bevin; hon. secretary, the large attendance. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr. L. G. Armstrong; president, Mr. R. A. Coyne; vicepresidents, Mrs. W. H. Wood, Messrs. J. Middlebrook, R. Laurie, S. ’A. Empson, adn J. Bevin; hon. secretary, Mr. G. M. Blair; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. G. Warburton; hon. auditor, Mr. W. McGovern; club captain, Mr. R. L. Adams; vice-captain, Mr. H. J. Irwin; delegates to South Auckland Centre, Messrs. R. H. Coyne and S. A. Empson; general committee, Miss W. Wallace, Messrs. IT. Holt, K. Mills. R. L. Adams, F. Battson, H. Smith, J. Coyne, G.
