MOTOR-LORRY IN FLAMES

A motor-lorry, owned by Mr. A. E. Radcliffe. carrier, of Governor’s Bay, was destroyed by fire in Oyer’s Pass Road, Christchurch, on Friday night. The lorry was loaded with 100 empty petrol eases. The ' flames burned themselves out. as no help was available. The lorry, which was valued at £ 330, was totally destroyed.—P.A.
