PAPATOETOE ORANGE HALL

OFFICIAL OPENING AND DEDICATION There was a large attendance of members and friends of the Papatoetoe Loyal Orange Lodge, Renown No. 117, at the official opening of the new hall in Dunotaur Avenue, Papatoetoe, on Saturday. Right Worshipful Bro. H. Smithers, Grand Master of New Zealand, performed the opening ceremony and afterwards conducted the dedication service. *

He was assisted by Grand Lodge officers and officers of the District Grand Lodge. , ~ Worshipful Bro. Fbll, I.P.M. of the Papatoetoe Lodge, welcomed the officiating officer and handed him the A band, composed of members of the Orange Lodges under the leadership of Bandmaster Stuart, was in attendance, and contributed an enjoyable programme of musical numbers.
