WALL STREET’S RECORD (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.48 a.m. NEW YORK, Friday. The stock market, in a tremendous demonstration, ran to a total sale of 6,733,500 shares. The ticker was 75 minutes late, and brokers were unable to stand the pace, so all transactions were slowed down. Furious excitement ruled all day. At the beginning of the session sales were made at a rate which, if they had continued, would have brought the total to 11,000,000. The kerb market also set a new high record, with a total of 2,151>800, with belated tickers.
