TEN YEARS GOVERNOR
BANK OF ENGLAND APPOINTMENT MR. MONTAGUE NORMAN British Official Wireless. Reed. 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Friday. Tlie court of directors of the Bank of England has agreed to recommend to the proprietors in April next that the Rt. Hon. Montagu Norman be reelected governor for the ensuing year, in succession to Mr. Cecil Lubbock. Mr. Norman will thus be re-elected for his 10th consecutive year of governorship, an event without precedent. Until a few days ago Sir Ernest Harvey filled the position of comptroller of the bank.
