ENTRIES DUE ON MONDAY The Waikato Trotting Club’s summer meeting is fixed to be held on Saturday, December 8. and. with prizemoney to the amount of £I,BOO allotted to the eight events on the programme. in addition to a 100-guinea cup as a trophy, there is much to interest owners of horses. The lead ing event is the Mark Memorial Cup. which carries the good stake of £ 500 in addition to a gold cup of the value of lOOgns. The Hamilton Handicap, which is confined to unhoppled horses* is worth £250 and altogether the prois cast on lines that should attract an extensive list of entries. From the programme, which will he found published in full in another column, it will be seen that nominations p or all events close n6xt Monday at 5 o.m.
