GALLIC AT BOSTON. —The White Star steamer Gallic, which was dispatched from Auckland for New York, Boston, Halifax, London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow on September 26, is reported to have reached Boston last Wednesday.
NIAGARA PROM VANCOUVER.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara, which left Vancouver at 5 p.rn. last Wednesday for Auckland and Sydney, via ports, is due here on December 3.
H.M.S. DIOMEDE ARRIVES.—H.M.S. Diomede arrived in Auckland at 31 o’clock this’ morning. The warship is from England, where she refitted and embarked a new crew. She berthed at Sheerlegs Wharf.
THE MARGARET W.—The four-masted auxiliary schooner Margaret W. was to leave Waikato Heads for Motu River, Bay of Plenty, yesterday to complete unloadin poles from Port Stephens. From Motu the vessel will go to Lytetlton for survey.
NORFOLK SAILS MONDAY. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Norfolk will now leave Auckland on Monday afternoon for Wellington, where she completes her discharge of London cargo. Later the vessel loads in New Zealand for Home.
GLENEDEN REPORTED.—Advice received by Messrs. R. Millar and Company states the steamer Gleneden, en route from Java to Auckland with raw sugar, passed Cape Moreton last Wednesday and should arrive next Tuesday. The cargo will be unloaded at Chelsea.
CANADIAN BRITISHER. —En route from Montreal to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Timaru and Napier, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Britisher is reported to have reached Colon last Wednesday. She is scheduled + o arrive „at Auckland about December S.
SOMERSET RADIOS.—The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised by radio that the Fedlerol steamer Somers is expected to arI rive at Auckland midnight on Thursday I next from Liverpool. The vessel is bringi ing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
PORT WELLINGTON REPORTS.—According to a. radio message received by the Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company, the C. and D. Line's steamer Port Wellington is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 3 o’clock on Tuesday morning from London. The vessel has passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland. as well as cargo for discharge at Wellington and New Plymouth.
TURAKINA I IRTHER DELAYED.— The New Zealand Shipping Company advises the loading of the Turakina in Napier roadstead has been delayed by boisterous weather and the Vessel cannot now be dispatched for Auckland before Tuesday. She will continue loading at Auckland for New York, Halifax. London, Avonmouth. Glasgow and Liverpool and will then go to Tokomaru Bay to complete her cargo.
MAUNGANUI FROM 'FRISCO.—From San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. the Royal Mail liner Maunganui is due at Wellington on Monday morning. After landing passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand, she is to resume her voyage to Sydney on Tuesday. At Sydney the vessel will be transferred to the intercolonial passenger service. She is scheduled to leave Sydney for Auckland on November 30.
TAINUI DUE SUNDAY NIGHT.—A radio message has been received by the Shaw, _ Savill and Albion Company from their liner Tainui, en route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel will arrive at Wellington at 10 o'clock to-morrow night. The Tainui will berth on Monday morning, to land passengers and mails, and will sail from 'Wellington the same afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff, to discharge her cargo.
OIL FROM SAN PEDRO.—Wireless ady*?.® fr ° m , the Norwegian motor-tanker Hud?. Knudsen states she is being delayed by a south-east gale, and will now reach Auckland at 3 o’cloek this afternoon. The vessel is from Los Angeles with a full cargo of bulk oil for the Atlantic Union Company. She will berth at Western Wharf to pump a quantity of oil into the company s tanks at Freeman’s Bar The remainder of the cargo will be unloaded at \\ ellington, Melbourne and Sydney. MAUI POMARE IN PORT. The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare returned to Auckland this morning from Norfoik Island and berthed at the King’s w narr to land her passengers, mails and cargo. Until yesterday when she ran into a southerly which delayed her slightly, the Maui Pomare experienced good weather for the run to the Island and back. The vessel is scheduled to leave Auckland at 31 a.m. on Tuesday for Niue Island and Apia. Samoa, to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton. Wellington and Auckland. Spedding, Limited, are the local agents for the vessel.
CUMBERLAND LEAVES PANAMA.— The New Zealand Shipping Company has been notified by cable that the Federal steamer Cumberland arrived at Panama on Monday from Liverpool, and sailed again on Tuesday for New Zealand ports. The vessel is due at Auckland on December 3.
CARGO FROM THE EAST. The Company advises the "Waiotapu will load during November and December at Calcutta, Penang, Singapore and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. STEAMER OMANA.—The Lamb steamer Omana, which arrived at midday yesterday with coal and hardwood from Newcastle, Sydney and Port f?^.l , | n s'=nn er 5 hed i ll Central Wharf to unload 2,500 tons for Auckland, the remainder of the cargo being for Gisborne, r, ap a r e ind Taur anga. The vessel experienced fine weather with fresh southerly winds and moderate beam seas on the trip. she is to sail for Gisborne about Thursday next.

PIRI OFF SLIP. The Nobel Fxplo- : sive Company's Piri was to come off slip at Freeman's Bay this morning after 1 undergoing her annual overhaul and survey.
PORT ALMA FROM LONDON. C. and D- Line advises that the Poi t Alma is to leave London on December 3with general cargo to discharge at Fort Chalmers, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth.
CANOPUS SAILING.—At one o’clock this afternoon the. Westport Coal panv’s collier Canopus was to be dispatched from Auckland on her return trip to Westport after, completing the discharge of a cargo of coal at King s Wharf.
MARAMA LEAVES SYDNEY. -According to cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company, the intercolonial passenger steamer Manama left Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday with passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland. She is due here on Tuesdaj morning.
ROTORUA LEAVES PANA MA. Cabled news has been received by the Now Zealand Shipping » ompany that their liner Rotorua arrived at Colon on Saturday from London and Southampon and left Panama on Sunday for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due at Auckland on December 1.
AORANGI DUE AT 5 A.M. MONDAY. —The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, en route from Sydney, is due in the stream at Auckland at » a.m. on Monday. She will berth about 6 a.m. at the Prince’s Wharf, and at o p.m. on Tuesday leaves here for Suva, Honolulu. Victoria and Vancouver.
MATAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that their liner Mataroa, which has been considerably delayed in the South by bad weather, left Lyttelton yesterday for Timaru to complete discharge ot her London cargo and for loading. The A-essel will proceed from Timaru to Auckland (November 21 to November 26) and .Wellington to fill up. The Mataroa is due at Wellington on November 29, and will sail finally from that port at o p.m. on December 5 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. —The Union Company advises the following movements of vessels engaged in the trans-Pacific cargo services:— The Waitemata will leave Nelson on Tuesday next for Lyttelton and Dunedn, and will proceed thence to Vancouver, via Fiji. The Waihemo left Los Angeles on November 9, is due at Auckland on December 4, and will continue to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Nordhval left San Francisco on November 10, is due at Auckland on December 4, and will go thence to Melbourne and Sydney. The Sussex, from "Wellington, arrived at Vancouver on Wednesday. The Wairuna, which left Fanning Island on November 2, is due at Vancouver to-day.
The Waikawa will leave Suva to-day for Vancouver, where she is due on December 8.
The Hauraki was to leave Sydney yesterday for Vancouver, via Honolulu, and is due at Honolulu on December 3.
BEN HOLM ARRIVES. An arrival in the stream at Auckland at an early hour this morning was the steamer Benholm, running under the auspices of the American and Australian Line’s Eastern service, and to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The vessel, which is on her maiden voyage, sailed from Home in September last and proceeded to New York, where she took on her present cargo. With general merchandise, motor-cars and case-oil i.he vessel sailed from the American port on October 12, and two days later cleared Newport News. Colon was reached on October 21, and late the same night the Benholm celared Balboa. Fair to moderate weather continued for the vovage across the Pacific. The ship’s maiden trip has been a success, and her average of 10.7 knots is looked upon as a very satisfactory average speed the voyage from New York to Auckland. The Benholm berthed at Central Wharf this morning, where she commenced the discharge of her cargo. Captain R. H. Lennie is in command of the Benholm, and Mr. H. S. Jones is chief officer.
The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that it is hoped to dispatch the vessel from Auckland on Wednesday next for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete the discharge of her cargo.
