M-G-M AGENTS SEEK RARE EQUIPMENT IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES
“Scouts are employed | throughout the world by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for the purpose of securing rare and valuable costumes and articles for studio property departments,” says Mr. W. Piekerjng, an Australian who returned last week from a visit to Hollywood. “Their equipment is amazing in its size and completeness,” he added. "They appeared to have everything under the sun in their big storehouses, and I was told that the rulers of several foreign countries were trying to get back a lot 01 historic goods and antiques which had come into the hands of the big lilm corporation.”
