PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY
MEETINGS AT ST. DAVID’S Meetings in connection with the 1928 general assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand will be held at St. David’s Church from November 21 to about November 28. The opening service will be held on Wednesday evening, when the Rev. J. Aitken, the retiring moderator, will preach. The inaugural address by the moderator-elect, the Rev. Professor W. Hewitson, will follow. Other meetings will be held on Thursday and Friday. The annual conference of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union will be held in the Church of England Hall, Burleigh Street, from November 22 to November 28.
