to land, and ordered them to leave as soon as possible. An armed guard has been placed in charge of the plane. Bunder-Abbassi is a seaport town of Persia, on the Persian Gulf, near its entrance, about 12 miles north-west of the island of Ormuz. It was a place of great commercial importance under Abbas the Great. Its name signifies I “Harbour of Abbas.’’
