Dr. A. F. Coker has returned to Auckland after a visit to the Bast Coast. Paviour Smith returned to Auckland this morning from Wellington*by the Limited. Mr. J. Henryß, racing handicapper, was a passenger from Wellington this morning on the Limited. Messrs. A. Fisher and R. B. Smith were among the arrivals from Wellington this morning on the Limited. Mr. C. Morgan Jones, of the Sydney •gun” staff, has arrived in Wellington by the Ulimaroa from Sydney. He will spend a holiday in New Zealand. Mr. B. Bagley, who has been headmaster at the Hamilton East School for the last six years, will retire on superannuation at the end of this year. Mr. Justice Smith, who has presided in conjunction with Mr. Justice Blair during the criminal sessions at the Supreme Court, Auckland, will leave for Wellington this evening. Mr. H. W. Giesen, of Dannevirke, organiser of the proposed London and New Zealand Bank, is at present paying a business visit to Auckland. He will leave shortly for London. Mr. Justice Reed will arriv'e in Auckland on Sunday morning on Prisons Board business.
