ELECTORAL. TO THE ELECTORS OP AUCKLAND WEST. T ADIES AND GENTLEMEN,— I desire to return my very sincere thanks to you for again returning me at the head of the Poll. To that small band of volunteer workers who made the victory possible I am especially grateful. Yours faithfully, M. J. SAVAGE. ADIES AND GENTLEMEN, — I have been defeated in a contest in which I exerted my best endeavour and in which I was accorded the sincere support of splendid friends. The Reform and United vote was consolidated, and I lost. I have no personal regrets, I can take my gruel. I regret that, the seat has been lost for the Party. I shall continue to raise my voice on behalf of the ideals of Labour. While nolitically differing with Auckland East’s new M.P. I wish him well personal^'. Yours faithfully, JOHN A.
