WALL STREET AGAIN
FIVE MILLION SALES (Australian and y.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Wednes. Stock sales to-day totalled 5.413.600 shares. This is the third day in succession that the five million mark has been passed, and the fourth time in the history of the exchange. The tickers were hopelessly behind the market. Many issues pushed into new high levels, but the market was generally irregular. United States Steel moved again to a new high level of 169. with a one-point increase.
