(United Service) Received 9.15 a.m. HONG-KONG, Tuesday. ! A wireless mesage from H.K r Seraphis, which had proceeded hu - riedly to the Chinese steamer Hsin Chi. which is ashore at Tai Island, near Amoy, reveals a story of wanton destruction. Apparently pirates boarded the help-
| less steamer, thoroughly looting an i j setting fire to it, and then decamping ' in junks. Just previously, the Dutch steamer j Tjitaroem had rescued 200 passengers, j It is believed that probably the pirates were aboard before the | steamer was wrecked. So far the casualties are not known. ■ j but it is believed they are heavy.
