JOURNALIST’S DEATH
LATE MR. GILBERT RYAN The death is announced from Sydney of Mr. Gilbert Ryan, a well-known Australian journalist who at the time of his death was on the staff of the “Daily Guardian,” Sydney. Mr. Ryan, who was at one time office boy to the late John Norton, had been on the New Zealand staff of “Truth,” and also of the staff of the “Weekly Press,” Christchurch, which last month ceased publication. i i i » !
