WORK OF LATE MR. PEAKE
CRICKETERS PAY TRIBUTE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Association last night passed a motion of condolence with Mrs. Peake and family. Various speakers paid sterling tribute to the work the late Mr. Peake had done in the cause of cricket and other sport in New Zealand. Tributes are also contained in messages to the council from all over the Dominion and the Australian Commonwealth. One was received from the New South Wales State Eleven which played the Englishmen yesterday.
