TUDOR, REMUERA

GREAT NAVAL FILM The great pictorial story of two famous naval engagements, “The Battle of Coronel and the Falkland Islands,” will be shown again this evening at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera. The great epic is a vivid and authentic reproduction of a disastrous naval defeat, and of a glorious defeat avenged. In the beginning of the photo-play, the disastrous battle of Coronel is shown, when H.M.S. Good Hope and Monmouth were defeated and sunk by the German squadron under the command of Admiral Von Spee, and celebrations in Valparaiso and Germany when the news of the disaster is first received.
