MUNICIPAL CHOIR
The Municipal Choir will sing an attractive selection of choral works at the concert in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. Gounod’s By Babylon’s waves, settings of folk songs and Bach’s motett for double chorus *T Wrestle and Pray,” will be the chief chorus numbers. Miss Amy Hausard will sing Bantock’s 150 Psalm and Maughan Barnett’s Lullaby, witla violin obligato and Miss Jean Allen will play works by Schubert, Paradis and Granados.
