Retired Farmer’s Bequests Walter Henry Bailey, a retired farmer. formerly of Kimbolton, Feilding, died in Wellington on Saturday, at the aged of 78. It is understood he leaves substntial bequests to public institutions, including the City Council. Prisoner Dies in Cells When Robert Murdoch, aged 43, was charged w*ith drunkenness in the Dunedin Police Court yesterday, he was remanded for seven days for medical treatment. Last night he had what the constable thought was a fit, but when a doctor arrived Murdoch was dead. — P.A. Motpr-cyclist Hurt While trying out a motor-cycle tfiis morning for its owner, Mr. C. Walker collided with a motor-car at the corner of Anzac Avenue and Eden Street, and received a broken leg and many bruises. He was taken to hospital, where his condition is reported to be satisfactory. The motor-cycle was badly smashed, but the car, which was driven by a Mr. Johnson, was hardly damaged,
