TE AWAMUTU OWNER CHAMPION REMAINS WITH KENNERLEY (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Peter Bingen, winner of the New Zealand Trotting Cup and the Free-for-All at the New Zealand Metropolitan T.C.’s spring meeting, has been sold to Mr. W. Johnstone, of Te Awamutu. It is understood that the son of Nelson Bingen and Bertha Belle will remain in J. J. Kennerley’s stably, and is likely to be prepared for the Auckland T.C.’s summer meeting, V. Alborn has purchased the late Mr. Watson’s share in Golden Devon and the Great Audubon gelding will in future race in his sole interest.
