COASTAL MOVEMENTS— Tlia Waimea is due at Auckland this afternoon from Napier, and berths at the Central Wharf. The vessel is bringing transhipments ex the trans-Pacific cargo steamer Waitemata. She leaves here at 1 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Kurow, from Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton, leaves Picton at 1 o’clock this aftei'noon for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here next Thursday and, after discharge, loads here for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Wingatui left Auckland Saturday evening for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Waipiata sailed from Bluff at 6 a.m. last Saturday, via Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland, where she is due early next week. The Kuimanawa arrived at Auckland this morning from Westport and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She leaves here on Wednesday on her return trip to the coal port to load for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Balls Head, which arrived here on Saturday evening from Greymouth. sails at 11 o’clock this evening on her return trip to Greymouth. where she loads again for this port. . „ . _ The Kaituna arrived at Napier at ( a.m. yesterday from Gisborne, and leaves to-morrow night for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday to complete her discharge of Newcastle coal. The Gunbar is expected at Auckland on Thursday from the East Coast, and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Waitemata arrived at New Plymouth this morning from Napier and sails on Wednesday for Nelson, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete her discharge of Pacific Coast cargo. . . The Matakana was unable to finish her discharge at Auckland on Saturday, and now leaves to-day for Wellington Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, to land the remainder of her Liverpool cargo The Wirral leaves Auckland this afternoon for Wellington. She returns again at 1.15 p.m. to-morrow. The Kawau sailed from Auckland this morning for Kawau. Leigh and Mangawai. She returns again at 4.30 p.m. tomorrow. The Omana was to be dispatched from Auckland at half-past two this afternoon for Manly. Arkle’s .Bay and Silverdale. She returns at 10 o’clock this evening. The Toa is expected to arrive at Auckland this evening from Onehunga, via Hokianga. She sails at four o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Whakatane. The Taniwha is due at Auckland at half-past two to-morrow morning from Paeroa. She sails again at 11.30 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Claymore is due at Auckland at four o’clock to-morrow morning from Whangarei. She sails again for the same port at 9.30 p.m. the same day. The Otimai is to be dispatched from Auckland at noon to-morrow for Kutarere and Opotlki. The Richardson steamer Awahou arrived at Auckland at 11 o’clock this morning from the East Coast and berthed at Central Wharf. At 5 p.m. to-morrow she sails again for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Tirpa which arrived at Auckland yesterday from the East Coast berthed at King’s Wharf. She loads to-day and to-morrow and sails at noon to-morrow for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Coronation sailed on Saturday for Awanui.
