WHITE NEW ZEALAND
CIRCULARS SENT TO POLITICIANS BATIONAL POLICY SOUGHT An effort to make its policy a national one is being made by the White New Zealand League. It is sending circulars to all candidate** for Parliament asking questions bearing on such a policy. Tli© league indicates the effects of Asiatic penetration in other white countries, and maintains that Now Zealand, especially because of its position In the Pacific Ocean, which will become increasingly important xn Empire affairs, should realise that a menacKs exists. Parliamentary candidates are being asked 4f they arc m favour of a white New Zealand policy, and if they would support the continuance of the present embargo on the entry of Asiatics to the Dominion. Other questions deal with the favouring of legislation prohibiting the employment of white or native girls by Asiatics, the supervision of the sanitary conditions of Asiatic fruit shops and habitations, and the support of legislation to make Asiatics ettrry individual identification certificates*.
