ONEHUNGA METHODISTS

73RD ANNIVERSARY The celebrations in connection with the seventy-third anniversary of the Onehunga Methodist Sunday School attracted crowded congregations to the Foresters’ Theatre yesterday. The morning service was conducted by Dr. C. H. Law's, the Rev. L. B. Dalby □reached in the afternoon, and the Rev. F. E. Leadley in the evening. A special feature of the celebrations was the singing of 300 carefullytrained children, under the baton of Air. A. R. Gatland. assisted by the church choir and a full orchestra. The annual demonstration will take place to-night, when the prizes won by the scholars will be presented. The programme will include two speciallystaged Bible plays in character, descriptive of the call of Samuel and the finding of Moses.
