FIRE AT DUNEDIN

METAL STOCK DAMAGED Press Association DUNEDIN, Sunday. The upper storey of the perambulator department in the workshops of Messrs. J. and W. Faulkner’s premises in Castle Street, was gutted by fire at five o’clock this morning. Considerable damage was done, a huge quantity of metal being completely ruined. Practicaly nothing was saved. The stock on the ground floor was considerably damaged by water. The fire was confined to one department, and no other part of the building was damaged. The building was insured for £1,500, the stock for £2,500, and the machinery for £2OO, all in the Royal Exchange Assurance Company.
