AT HUIA DAM

SIR JAMES GUNSON GIVES ADDRESS Visiting the remoter portions of his electorate. Sir James Uynson, Reform candidate for Suburbs, addressed the men at Huia dam late yesterday afternoon. The candidate dealt witn unemployment, and the economic position, his address closing amid applause. Sir James later proceeded to the Huia School, where he spoke to a representative gathering of electors in the evening. Mr. Marshall Laing presided. The candidate dealt with land settlement and the record of the Government on the lines of previous addresses. At the conclusion he received a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence.
