Double boxes are to be erected in Queen Street at the foot of Wyndham and Victoria Streets, as the present single ones are in great demand. Single boxes will be placed at the following points:—Alpha Road, near Stanley Street; Brighton Road, near Lee Street; the corner of Cumberland Avenue and War nock Street; the corner of West End and Garnet Roads; one near the corner of the Great North Road and Point Chevalier Road; Market Road, near Remuera Road: corner of Upland Road and Benson Road. The erection of these telephone boxes is part of last year’s scheme, which was not continued.
