It reduced the age at which women can draw the Old Age Pension from 65 to 60 years; raised the Pension from 10/to 17/6 per week; increased the average of Widows Pensions from £l9 per annum to £77 per annum. The Reform Government has given earnest and Practical Support to the Plunket Society and made large grants to Karitane Hospitals for the benefit of Mothers and Children. During the last year grants to the Plunket Society amounted to £24,911. Reform legislation for the Social Welfare of children is the talk of the Empire. The Reform Government has proved that it always has the interests of Woman and Child at heart. • You know what they have done, they are willing to do more.
