HELEN OF TROY IN “TESHA"
Victor Saville, the eminent British young director, deserves all the compliments one can pay for the polished production and excellent direction of "Tesha,” tho British International Picture shortly to be released in this country by Cinema Art Films. ••Tesha” was adapted from the wellknown novel by Countess Barcynska and in which the famous European beauty Maria Corda, well remembered for her excellent performance in “Helen of Troy,” and England’s well-known leading man Jefferson Thomas, play the principal parts. The British Press has been unanimous in their eulogistic remarks regarding “Tesha.” Few British films have been more artistically set or better photographed, whilst the dramatic values are all that can be desired. “Tesha” certainly adds prestige to British productions generally. Janet Gaynor has started work on another Fox production. The picture, as yet untitled. has an atmospheric background of Holland.
