MR. RICHARDS IN FORM A series of crowded and enthusiastic meetings greeted Mr. A. S. Richards, Labour candidate for Roskill, last evening. Evei*y shopping centre was visited, and the. candidate spoke briefly and answered dozens of questions. In good election fighting form, he pointed out the maladministi'ation of the past 16 years, and the last three years in particular. He dealt with the reforms that would be instituted by the Laboqr Government as soon as it took charge of the Treasui-y benches. Liberal legislation in the interests of the W’oi'king people * would be the aim of the party, He stressed,the importance of every elector realising that a vote for any other than the Labour Party was a vote for Reform. Votes of thanks and confidence in the candidate and in the Labour movement were carried with cheers at evei*y meeting.
