Received 9.5 a.m. LYNN, U.S.A., Thursday. FOURTEEN people were killed and nine are in a serious condition as the result of an explosion which wrecked the shoe plant of the Preble Box-toe Company at East Lynn on Thursday morning. Several others are missing. A flame from the explosion burst into an adjoining house, killing a woman and her four children. The other dead are believed to be workers.
