MOTOR-CYCLIST HURT
COLLISION NEAR MERCER Last evening near Mercer, a motorcyclist, Mr. John Patterson, a single man, aged 23, of 112 Lake Road, Takapuna, was knocked down by a service car and received a compound fracture of the leg. He was brought into Auckland by train and admitted to hospital where he was operated on late last evening. His condition this morning was reported to be satisfactory.
