THE AMERICAN ELECTION The case against Prohibition will be stated by Mr. H. Scott-Bennett at the Municipal Hall, Newmarket, on Monday, November 12, at 8 p.m. Mr. Bennett will also speak on the same subject at the Leys Institute, Ponsonby, on Tuesday, November 13, at 8 p.m.

With special reference to the American Presidential election, and its significance, Mr. Fred Arlington-Burke will speak at an open-air meeting at the Three Lamps, Ponsonby, to-morrow evening, at seven o’clock. He will also speak at an open-air meeting at Marine Parade, Devonport, on Monday, November 12, at 8 p.m.
