CANDIDATE RETIRES
NORTHERN MAORI SEAT (Special to THE SUN) WHANGAREI, To-day. In order to free himself to conduct a number of land ca*ses Mr. L. W. Parore. the Independent candidate for the Northern Maori seat, has withdrawn from the contest. He was met by a deputation who requested him not to contest the seat until the next election. Mr. Parore is a solicitor.
