PEACE AND GOODWILL

FRANCO-BRITISH POLICY British Official Wireless RUGBY, Tuesday. Sir William Tyrrel, the new British Ambassador in Paris, was the guest of honour in Paris last evening of L’Association Grane Bretagne and of the Cercle Interallie. Sir William said the main objective of the Franco-British policy was the promotion of peace and goodwill, and it was characteristic of that policy that it was inclusive and not exclusive. It was directed, against no one, and the two countries would always welcome the collaboration of any other country that with them desired to promote peace and goodwill in the world.
