FORTUNE SPENT IN YEAR

Alexander Henry Dixon Aria, foreign exchange broker, of Draper’s Gardens, London, E.C., stated in the London Bankruptcy Court, recently that he had lost: £4,500 in Stock Exchange speculation. £3,500 in Foreign Exchange speculation. £4,0000 in gambling. £550 in betting. These losses were chiefly incurred in 1927, in which year he borrowed a considerable sum from his late partner. They had brought about his insolvency, and in consequence of his position he retired last February from the firm in which he was a partner. HiS liabilities amount to £ 10,500. There are no assets.
