BACTERIOLOGIST SOUGHT SERVICE OVER LARGE AREA (From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. Satisfactory tests have been made with the X-ray plant recently installed at the Opotiki Public Hospital. At a meeting of the Hospital Board held yesterday it was decided to make representations for the appointment of a bacteriologist to a central part of the Bay of Plenty, so that the Opotiki, Whakatane. Tauranga and Rotorua Hospital Boards could be served.
