WOMEN LABOURITES
SUPPORT FOR MR. OSBORNE In furtherance of the candidature of Mr. A. C. Osborne, official Labour candate for Waitemata, prominent women supporters of the movement addressed a largely-attended meeting of women in the Masonic Hall Northcote, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Macky strongly urged the women of the electorate to take a deeper interest in politics and protect their homes by returning the Labour Party to power. Mr. Osborne briefly addressed the meeting and a vote of thanks and confidence in the candidate was carried unanimously.
