MR. JENKINS AT PARNELL Stressing the necessity for more equitable taxation, Mr. H. R. Jenkins, United -Party candidate for Parnell, last evening addressed an audience of over 350 people in the Somervell Hall. Remuera. The candidate denied that he would support Labour in their attempts to reach the Treasury benches, saying that his earlier allegiance to the Reform Party had ended because of liis belief that their policy was dangerous At the end of his address he answered many questions, and was given a vote of thanks and confidence by acclamation.
