EDENDALE
PEDRINI’S PERFORMING BABOONS A special attraction at the Kdendale Theatre this evening will be the appearance of Paul Pedrini’s famous performing baboons. These baboons were captured in the wilds of Africa by Mr. Pedrini himself and trained as actors, acrobats, jugglers and comedians. To-day the acts of these baboons are regarded as one of the sensations of the vaudeville world. The chief pictorial attraction will be "A Dog of the Regiment." starring Rin Tin Tin. "Wild West Romance." featuring Rex Bell, will also be screened. British Dominions Films have received advance news, that six tworeel comedies, based on stories especially written by H. O. “Wells, are now in the course of production at Gainsborough Studios. The star is Klsa Lanchester. who plays successful character parts in "The Constant Nymph" and "One of the Best," two productions which will be seen shortly in New Zealand. The direction of the comedies is in the hands of Frank Wells, a son of the author.
